Wes played for West Texas A&M University for five seasons while earning his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. During his time at West Texas A&M, he was named to the Lone Star Conference All-Tournament First Team in 2000 and 2001. In 2002, while serving as the captain of the team, he was named LSC first team All-Conference and second team Adidas NSCAA All-MidWest Region. He was also a member of the most successful men's soccer team in the history of the program, finishing with a 30-8-3 record in two seasons. During his time with the Buffaloes, the squads won three LSC Championships, one LSC Tournament Championship, two NCAA MidWest Region Championships and had two consecutive NCAA Elite Eight appearances.
In 2003, Wes became the Graduate Assistant Coach at West Texas A&M working with both the men's and women's programs. In December of 2005, he completed his Master's Degree in Business Administration and received his USSF National "B" License in June 2006. He joined Select from West Texas A&M University where he served as the Men's Assistant Coach. He represents the Select line in the Southwest Region - South Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Southern California & Colorado.
